How it started
Born from dissatisfaction, built with passion
RWLK was founded by Ronald Waterreus, a former professional goalkeeper with over twenty years at the highest level. He played with the most expensive gloves from the biggest brands, but ran into the same problems time and time again: disappointing grip, incorrect fits and prices that made no sense.
So he decided to do it himself. Better. He tracked down the best German manufacturers, tested every glove himself under the crossbar, and built the brand the way he, as a goalkeeper, had always wanted it.
Where it all began
Our very first glove
The RWLK Original is the glove where it all began for us. Our first model and the foundation upon which we continued to build RWLK. Over the years, the Original has been continually tested, improved and further developed.
Today, the glove still holds a permanent place in our range and is worn by goalkeepers at every level, including almost every professional keeper. The Original shows where we come from and what we stand for today.

Every goalkeeper deserves a grip they can build upon
From the Saturday amateur to the professional: everyone who defends the goal deserves gear that is right. That is what RWLK stands for. No empty marketing promises, but gloves that do what they need to do at the moment it counts.
We believe that grip makes the difference between a save and a conceded goal. That is why we only work with the best German-produced latex and test every new glove ourselves between the posts before it goes into the shop. If we wouldn't keep goal in them, we don't sell them.
And we keep it fair. Top quality doesn't have to come with absurd prices or tall tales. We don't promise more than we deliver, and we remain a brand by goalkeepers, for goalkeepers. That is the promise you can hold us to
